Convenient collections
We offer a choice of scheduled and/or ad hoc collections, giving you the flexibility and convenience you need. Scheduled collections will be arranged according to the amount of medical waste you generate, so for a small clinic it may be just twice a month but for a large hospital it will likely be daily. Alternatively you can just call us when you require a collection and we will collect the following day.
Variable pricing
Your healthcare waste service bill will be made up of three parts: A transportation charge levied per collection, any specialised bins or bags you wish to purchase, and the treatment and disposal fee, calculated per kilo of medical waste. Please note that laboratory chemicals and pharmaceutical waste incur different disposal fees from biomedical waste.

Averda is licensed to manage almost all types of healthcare waste in Dubai, including sharps, lab chemicals, and controlled pharmaceutical drugs.
Specialised vehicles and crew
Our branded, refrigerated vehicles are specifically engineered for medical waste management and include GPS tracking. Our fully-vaccinated and trained staff will be wearing full PPE including visors, hazmat suits and gloves.
How does it work?
Containers provided
We are able to provide our clients with any necessary bins or bags required to hold medical waste, if they don't already have their own.
Timely collection
Our fully-vaccinated, highly trained staff will arrive on time at your premises. They will be wearing full PPE including visors, hazmat suits and gloves. Using a portable weigh-scale they will weigh your healthcare waste and obtain a digital signature from you confirming collection and weight. They will also provide a written receipt for the cost of the waste disposal, which is paid in cash.
Medical waste transportation
Your waste will then be loaded into dedicated medical waste vehicle. These vehicles are refrigerated, clearly branded as healthcare waste, and have beacon lights. They are also equipped with two real-time GPS systems which provide accurate tracking on behalf of both Averda and the local municipal authorities. The waste will be transported to the appropriate municipality-approved disposal facility.
Disposal of medical waste
On arrival at the appropriate municipality-approved disposal facility, the vehicle is weighed. The waste is then transferred into the incinerator for safe destruction, giving you total peace of mind.
