Energy and disposal

Business lines

Turning waste into fuel is a process that involves sorting, screening, compressing, shredding and blending trash to turn it into energy for use in power plants, gas facilities, industrial boilers, cement kilns and combustion energy plants.

Like all Averda projects, we start RDF programmes with a period of consultancy to assess strategies and define goals. Depending upon the organisation we are working with and its objectives, those can range from the design, building and operation of a completely new waste-to-energy plant – or RDF contracts using our own existing facilities.

We adapt our approach to match the specific type of waste and the technologies available – and as engineering fans, we deploy the best and latest. Whether it’s plasma arc gasification or direct combustion, we’re at the forefront of innovation, adoption and deployment of RDF technologies.
